View Job Description Here - Bus Operator Trainee

 

Information specific to this position: multiple positions available. 

 

Pay Range: All newly hired Bus Operators to PSD will be hired as a Bus Operator Trainee with varied hours and at a set hourly rate of pay of $22.05/hour.  After successful completion of the required training class and CDL, Trainees will be moved into the Bus Operator position and assigned a route with scheduled hours.  The rate of pay for Bus Operator is $22.05- $24.70 (min – 12% above min)/hr*, depending on related experience.  

  

Hours/day: Varied

 

Work calendar days: 182 days

 

Start date: August 2023

 

Duration of position: Ongoing

As a Bus Operator with scheduled hours: Health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, PERA retirement, paid time off, short and long term disability, as well as other optional benefit elections. 

 

If you currently have an out-of-state driver's license, you MUST attach a recent motor vehicle record.  If you currently have a Colorado driver's license, attaching a recent motor vehicle record is not required but is preferred.

 

*Pay range listed above is for employees newly hired to PSD (existing employees please refer to the pay range on the appropriate salary schedule).
