Rate of pay: $17.00 - $19.04/hour*

This is a seasonal position beginning in April 2024 for approximately 6 months

Summary of
Position
|
This position is a 6 month seasonal position. Maintain PSD’s playgrounds, athletic fields, lawn and grass areas and parking lots.

Essential
Functions
|
Mow and trim grass/lawns/fields
Rake and remove leaves
Perform light pruning
Prepare and maintain athletic fields and tracks
Provide minor sprinkler and fence repair

Responsibilities

Weekend work as needed
Perform other job related duties as assigned

Education and Experience
|
One year of related experience required. Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
|
Required Knowledge, Skills
and Abilities
|
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to safely life and carry up to 70 pounds.
Skilled in the safe operation of large commercial turf mowers and equipment.
Skilled in the safe operation of trailer towing and the loading and unloading of equipment.
Human relation skills.
Ability to be a part of/work with a team.

Required

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, you may be asked to bring a MVR report upon interview.
